For Thanksgiving, we celebrated it the traditional way: with lots of friends! The event was set up like a potluck where everyone brought traditional Thanksgiving food items and then we played games and told each other what we were thankful for. Traditional Thanksgiving foods include: Turkey (which we replaced with roasted chicken), mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, steamed vegetables, salad, apple pie, pumpkin pie, green beans, bread rolls, and corn bread.
Some Thanksgiving traditions include traveling to other countries for vacation, having a feast (which is what we did), breaking the wishbone, helping others, watching the Thanksgiving Parade on TV, and also Black Friday shopping the day after!
